Itβs not often we get to see a team other than the Denver Nuggets that has the Lakersβ number. Thatβs been the case this season with the Sacramento Kings who have won all 3 meetings by an average of 10 points per game. This might be the Lakersβ best chance of beating this team all season long as theyβre playing the Kings who are on a 2nd night of a back-to-back. LA isnβt the best of team to bet on in road games, but theyβve got the momentum going in their favor after back-to-back wins over Milwaukee and Minnesota. The Lakers are 5-2 SU in their last 7 games, both LeBron James and Anthony Davis should be ready to play here. This team has connected 9 games in a row of shooting over 50% from the field, which is quite impressive.
The Kings just dominated the Milwaukee Bucks 129-94 at home last night in what was one of their best performances on the defensive end all year long. Other than Giannis Antetokounmpo who had 30, the Kings were able to shut down pretty much everyone as the Bucks shot just 36% from the field and 17% from downtown. Itβs hard to expect a similar effort tonight against the Lakers, especially since we know that Sacramento is just 5-5 SU in 10 games when playing on no rest. Another worrying stat here if youβre a Kings fan is their 1-5 ATS record over the last 6 home games. Just a couple of nights ago the Houston Rockets were able to beat them, exposing quite a few weaknesses on the offensive end.
