They have nothing to lose tonight at Minnesota, the oddsmakers are expecting a blowout victory for the home team as the visitors are 13.5 point underdogs. There is one caveat to consider before bettong on this game and that’s the fact that Minnesota is playing on a 2nd night of a back-to-back. They beat the Detroit Pistons last night 124-117, failing to cover as 12 point favorites. The defense surprisingly struggled against one of the worst offenses in the NBA, allowing the Pistons to shoot over 51% from the field. Knowing that Memphis knocked down 20 threes in their last game against Golden State, Minnesota cannot go into this game thinking it will be easy.
