Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t suit up in the Bucks wins over the Clippers the other night, the fact that Milwaukee got a win without their best players speaks to just how drastically this team has improved post All-Star break. Damian Lillard led the way with 41 points in what was the Bucks’ 6th straight victory, they’ve been doing it on the defensive end holding teams to just 102.6 points per 100 possessions. Tonight’s game will be a challenge against the Warriors who just suffered a massive loss in their last game. Although they are 6-4 SU in the last 10 head-to-head, the Bucks are only 3-6 ATS in their last 9 games vs Stephen Curry and his team. In their last 5 visits to Chase Center they’ve also covered the spread just once. Antetokounmpo’s status will be revealed an hour or so before tip-off.
Golden State found themselves on the other side of one of the most lopsided losses in NBA history. The Boston Celtics dismantled them on Sunday 140-88, the Warriors were down by 44 points at the break which prompted head coach Steve Kerr to bench his players the rest of the game and wave the white flag. Returning back home will be a good thing for this team as they look to bounce back, the sooner they forget about that game the better. They’ve actually been on a solid run since the start of February winning 11 of 14 games and also covering the spread as many times. Reinforcements are also on the way with Andrew Wiggins and Branding Podziemski both getting upgraded to probable here.
