@RyanPropz NBA Ladder Play - 2/2

Ryan

For this article, I will feature my first “ladder” play. The thought behind a ladder play is you find a player in a spot that you think they will hit their over on a stat and then some! Check out my page for the Ayo Dosunmu ladder play last night for an example. Bet these responsibly of course as there will be more implied risk, but I risk 1 unit on these total, the same as most standard straight bets. I’ll explain more about that shortly.

Oklahoma City Thunder (15-34) @ Dallas Mavericks (29-22)

Tonight’s ladder play, I will look at Reggie Bullock. The main narrative behind this is the loss of Tim Hardaway Jr. He just underwent surgery to repair a fracture in his left foot. I am confident Reggie will be the key beneficiary in his absence. Porzingis will also be out for today so this is another benefit to this play. It is a small sample size but in 4 games without Hardaway, Reggie has stepped in and hit: 3, 4, 6, 3 threes. In the most recent 3 games without Tim, Reggie’s attempted: 7, 8, and 8 with his minutes steadily increasing along the way including the second most minutes he has played all season last game (31). Perfectly enough he draws a great matchup vs the Thunder who allow the 6th most 3’s made a game.

The Ladder Play Breakdown

As far as the unit risked, let's say your unit size is $30. Personally I would bet:

$12 on the over 2.5 - pays $23

$10 on the over 3.5 - pays $57.60

$8 on the over 4.5 - pays $104

As the risk increases, prefer to bet less but of course this is just a suggestion.

Ladder Play

Reggie Bullock over 2.5 threes +130, 4+ threes +380, 5+ threes at +1100.
