Gonna look to the north for my next prop. The Trailblazers cross the border to face the Raptors in Toronto. The Blazers give very minimal effort defensively so they are always a great spot to target.Β

Iβm riding with the Wichita St product, Fred VanVleet for this prop. He is in his first season as full time PG with Kyle Lowryβs exit to Miami, and he has not disappointed. He gets huge minutes nightly, and sports a 24.3% usage rate. Tonight, I am liking his points + assist prop. He has hit this in 5 of his last 10 overall, and 6 of his last 10 home games. In those 10 home games at home, he has averaged 34.1 P+A. Anytime I look into a prop involving assists, I like to look at potential assists to get an idea of how many times a player is giving his teammates a look that could turn into an assist if scored. Fred has averaged 14.9 potential assists a game, so I like that volume.
As I mentioned before, Portland does not play a lick of defense. No reason for that to change today. They allow the 6th most points per game, as well as the fourth most assists. When narrowing that to PG, they are in the top ten for both points and assists allowed to PG. Expecting Fred to tear this team apart at home.
