NFL Week 8 Mega Parlay

Buffalo Bills -3.0 Point Spread vs Baltimore Ravens

It’s hard to overlook the Bills offense coming into this game. They lead the league averaging 32.8 points and also average 387.7 yards per game. Rushing Yards is another area in which they have the edge here – averaging 148.8 per game which ranks 2nd in the NFL. Even if Lamar Jackson returns from injury, it’ll take time for him to shake off the rest. Advantage Bills.

Minnesota Vikings -3.0 Point Spread vs Detroit Lions

If anyone can stop this explosive Lions defense, it’s the Vikings. Minnesota ranks 1st in NFL in points allowed, giving up just 12.3 per game. Their defense also generates 3.5 sacks per game, tied for best in the league. Their ability to pressure opposing quarterbacks is the main reason I have them winning by 4 or more points here.

Dallas Cowboys -7.0 Point Spread vs Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals are among the worst defenses in the league this season, allowing 29.7 points per game. With just 2 wins in 7 games and a negative 66-point differential, I’m afraid they have very little to offer in a game against the Cowboys. Expect a high scoring game and ultimately a convincing win for Dallas.

Pittsburgh Steelers -3.5 Point Spread vs Cleveland Browns

With a 5-2 record after 7 games played, the Steelers are one of the more consistent teams in the NFL. One of their main calling cards is on the defensive end where they allow only 19.7 points (5th best), while generating 2.6 sacks per game. Cleveland did win this match-up in Week 5, so I expect the Steelers to be extra motivated to get one back here. The first game was decided with a last minute field goal, I anticipate Pittsburgh to decide this one in their favor a lot earlier here.

Denver Broncos +1.5 Point Spread vs Kansas City Royals

My main concern here for the Chiefs is the state of the team following the Week 7 blowout loss to the Seahawks. You won’t find many teams as good as the Broncos in terms of pressuring opposing QBs, this might just decide the game in their favor. I quite like them as home underdogs here.

Washington Commanders -6.0 Point Spread vs Philadelphia Eagles

The main concern with Philadelphia here is their injury situation, obviously. They’ve struggled offensively, ranking just 29th with an average of 18.1 points per game. Saquon Barkley and Devonta Smith both have hamstring issues, I just find it difficult to recommend backing a team with so many injuries. Despite being just 1-4-1 I like the Commanders to cover here.
