The Kings travel to Denver to rematch Thursday’s matchup in which the Nuggets won by 18. De’Aaron Fox had a solid night scoring 20, but I like him to perform even better tonight.
Fox’s over was 24.5 that night, so missed by a few points. Thankfully that helps bring this line down a point to 23.5. I’m going to scoop that up. Fox has been revitalized since the Haliburton trade. He’s averaged 26.8 in 6 games since the blockbuster trade including his 20 point effort on Thursday. Overall this season he has hit this in 8/10 without Tyrese Haliburton. Fox also tends to score more points on the road. He averages 3.4 more points in road appearances than games at home.
Denver is also a solid matchup for point guards. They’ve allowed the second most points to the position over the last 30 days, and 7th most for the season. They are also 23rd in the league in points in the paint allowed, which is where Fox gets most of his work done.
