Kevin Porter can be quite infuriating to bet on, but at the same time he is a bit of a cheat code. If he plays at home, heβs a joy to bet on. If he is away, you may not even wanna consider him. Thankfully tonight, Kevin gets to play in Houston.
Some home and road splits can be a nice edge, especially this late into the season. Basketball is a mental game, and we have a nice collection of data now as the season approaches the end. Some players just step their game up at home, so do on the road. In Porterβs case, the numbers are rather eye popping:
- Home: 14.9 points 7.1 assists 42.4%
- Away: 12.9 points 4.8 assists 37.3%
We get a really nice edge here in points and assists. The Pacers are also a terrific spot for Kevin. Over the last 30 days, they have allowed the 6th most points and 2nd most assists to point guards. Since the trade deadline they have played a very fast paced, no defense style. Houston also specializes in running fast and allowing points. This should be an up and down the court game with plenty of extra possessions.
It should be the perfect environment for Porter Jr to rack up some points and feed his teammates some open looks.
