@RyanPropz Thunder vs. Blazers Cheat Sheet Pick - 2/4

The Blazers travel to Oklahoma City to rematch Monday night’s game in which they lost 98-81. In that game, OKC’s rookie guard Josh Giddey had 4 assists, but I am not too discouraged by that. In fact, his assist prop will be what I am looking towards tonight!

Shai Gilgeous Alexander is out through the all star break which has allowed Josh Giddey to become full time PG for the Thunder. In 5 games without SGA, Giddey has recorded: 8, 8, 14, 4, and 10 assists. Like I mentioned, that game with 4 was against these Blazers. With that said when I took a deeper look I was more tempted to grab this one. Giddey created 17 potential assists that night, and his team shot a jaw dropping 4-17 on them.

Of course Giddey is not surrounded with all star talent, but his teammates have converted on 6.2 out of his 11.6 potential assists so I’m willing to treat that game as an outlier. 

Portland is also a very solid matchup for Giddey. They allow the 2nd most assists in the league, 5th most points, and are 28th in defensive efficiency. Giddey should continue to pick apart this defense and create potential assists, we just need his teammates to finish the job tonight!
