It’s becoming really difficult to imagine what Luka Doncic’s true potential is. He is still only 23 years old and carrying an ok Dallas team to the 5th best record in the Western Conference. He’s always a great option for props, but the value of threes stuck out to me the most.
The Knicks allow the 7th most three points made in the NBA so they are always a great spot to target from behind the arc. A downside here we can’t ignore is that both of these teams play very slowly. They will be less possessions in this one than your average game. With that said, when we get a guy like Luka who is averaging 10.1 attempts a game over the last 10 games and playing nearly 40 minutes a game, I cannot resist. He is averaging 4.2 made threes over his last 10 games. He has hit 3+ in 8 of those 10, 4+ in 6/10, and 5+ in 5/10. He also has hit at least 4 threes in 5 consecutive home games (5+ in 4/5).
Hitting 5 threes is no normal feat but Luka has made a habit of it lately, so in a great matchup I’m laddering him up to 5 to see if he can keep it rolling.
