Gonzaga plays in the Sweet Sixteen tonight. While America watches the current Bulldogs, I’ll be focusing on a former Bulldog.
Betting can be hard. There’s a ton of things to consider when deciding on a prop. Thankfully, the Bucks have tried to offer us a shortcut this season. If the Bucks are playing, go look at opposing 3 point shooters. That’s exactly what I’m doing here. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope will likely be a popular option tonight, but I’m gonna go a sneakier route. I’m gonna look to Corey Kispert. After a slow start to his his rookie campaign, Corey’s role really started to take off around early February. He’s moved into the starting lineup and played very effective minutes since. He only got better when we got to March. This month he is averaging 2.5 made threes a game on 42.4% shooting from deep. He has also nailed 3 in the past two games without Kuzma, who is out again tonight.
As I mentioned, the Bucks are a great target for threes. In fact, they are the best! No team allows more threes than them. The best part about this…it only gets worse without Giannis. The Bucks allowed 14.9 threes a game in 11 games without Giannis this season including 15+ in 4 straight games. I love the value for Kispert in this spot.
