The NFL has blessed us again with a TNF game where we get to watch two teams from the worst division in the NFL square off for meaningless games. The Falcons currently sit 4-5 on the year and technically have playoffs chances however nobody is circling them in as one. The Panthers on the other end currently sit at 2-7 on the year and might be the worst team in all of football. The Panthers have rotated multiple different quarterbacks, fired their head coach, traded their franchise running back, and are dealing with a plethora of injuries. This team is simply depleted and I don’t see them winning this football game.
The Falcons aren’t the scariest team themselves however what they do well is keep games in reach. This team has overperformed my expectations for them so far and they continue to battle teams each week. Dropping a game last week to the chargers by 3, this should be an excellent bounce back opportunity against a Carolina team that Atlanta handled a couple weeks prior.

CLAIM NOWThe Panthers just have a lot of problem right now and it seems to be getting worse as they were brutally embarrassed by the Bengals last week. Watching this game it looked like players had given up. I question the leadership in the locker room, along with the players/personnel seeming to be concerned about the managements decision making with moves building up to this point. This teams concern should be focusing on future draft position and finding young talent to build around.
This line is playable up to -4.5 in my opinion. Carolina being at home is one reason why this line is closer along with the fact that both teams are clearly not great rosters. I’ve watched both teams weekly and my eyes are telling me that Atlanta is just physically a more dominant football team and I see them covering this spread this week.
