Capper Penguin's NFC Championship Pick: 49ers @ Eagles - 1/29

Championship Sunday. Capper Penguin has an NFL pick for all the NFC marbles.

Jalen Hurts and the Eagles are the REAL DEAL this year and this could very well be their year. They’re loaded.

They’re arguably the best on both sides of the ball and have a well oiled machine going against the 49ers. Jalen Hurts is better than Brock Purdue and it should be on full display as they both face a high level defense. Brock hasn’t had to face what he’s going against in the Eagles and the inexperience may show.

Jalen Hurts has been in peak form leading this team in the air but also on the ground. He’s covered 25+ rushing in his 5 of 7 games and is averaging 50.7 rushing yards per game. The games where he didn’t get 25 the Eagles were blowing out the other team and there was no reason to run. This game will at least be competitive, but I see the Eagles taking care of business like they have been all year. 

I’m backing Jalen Hurts and the Eagles at home vs Brock Purdy who should finally start making some mistakes vs a high level defense.
