Ty Bagent ran for 70 yards last week vs. the Saints and should use his legs again today vs. the Panthers. The Panthers have essentially held quarterback to no rush yards this year, but they haven’t really played any rushing quarterbacks (Derek Carr, Herbert, Hoyer, Kirk cousins). Sam Howell rushed the most and he ran for 19.
This also won’t be the normal Carolina defense. Their defense is very beat up with a big injury at almost every position so the chemistry may be lacking a little. He threw 3 picks last week and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s hesitant to throw tight balls into coverage today.
