Dallas Cowboys +2.5 vs Houston Texans
At 0-3 the Cowboys are now expected to respond, especially after their close loss to Baltimore 34-31 in Week 3. They got 276 passing yards from Dak Prescott and 98 rushing yards from Javonte Williams in that game and it still wasnโt enough. I feel like they have the ability to keep things close here against Houston.
LA Rams -3 vs Philadelphia Eagles
Despite the loss to Denver in Week 3, the Ramsโ still had reasons to be satisfied with their performance. Matthew Stafford threw for 390 yards and two TDs, his passing production will once again be the key vs Philadelphia. The Eagles are coming off a tough loss in Week 3, their confidence has taken a hit so letโs hope the Rams can capitalize.
Las Vegas Raiders +4.5 vs KC Chiefs
The Raiders have surprised a lot of people with their strong start to the new season. They lead the league in turnover differential at +5 and are tied for fourth in sacks. The Chiefs are improving, but I like the Raiders in the underdog role here with Kirk Cousins throwing three TDs in each game so far.
Denver Broncos +2.5 vs San Francisco Giants
What gives me confidence in picking the Broncos here is the fact that theyโve already beaten several quality opponents this season. Their comeback vs the Rams was particularly impressive, it just highlights how quickly they are able to turn the game around in their favor with their lethal offense.
Seattle Seahawks -7 vs Los Angeles Chargers
LAโs offense is a concern here โ the most points theyโve scored in a game this season so far is just 16. Meanwhile, the Seahawks just had their 12-game win streak snapped, but that shouldnโt be a discouraging factor if you are backing them here. Seattle should be able to pressure an offense that has struggled to sustain drives, which gives me confidence in this pick.
Detroit Lions -3.5 vs Carolina Panthers
Consistency has been the key for the Lions so far who are 2-1 on the season, scoring 31 points in each of the three games. Jahmyr Gibbs accounted for three TDs against the Jets in the Week 3 win, I am going to keep trusting the reliable Detroit offense. The Panthers have shown solid efficiency on offense as well, but if this is a high scoring game Iโm going with the road squad.
