The 49ers own the Rams. They've won their last 6 straight vs the defending Super Bowl champs including a convincing win last game at home by 21. The 49ers' scheme and gameplan look to be the reason why and possession/run game seem to be a huge part of it. LA has been out possessed in terms of time because they pass a lot feeding right into the 49er game plan. The 49er defense only gives 227 total YPG (12.3 points) and if their defense gets a few stops on defense they will grind out the clock with their ground game and Stafford will be in for another frustrating game in San Francisco. In the last two games vs LA, SF's RB1 rushed for 85 (Eli Mitchell 21 attempts) and 91 yards (Eli Mitchell 27 attempts @ SF).
Jeffrey Wilson is the only reliable RB going into tonight's matchup and will be a major key to SF success. He's covered this line in his last two games easily with 75 and 84 rushing yards. He didn't cover in week 1 because Eli Mitchell wasn't hurt (6 attempts) and Trey Lance rushed the ball 13 times. LA has only let up 93.7 RYPG, but this is because they went up early in their last two games vs weaker teams in ATL and ARI. In their first game vs the Bills they let up 121 rushing yards and I bet we see a similar number to that as SF has been averaging 151 RYPG. Give me Jeffrey Wilson to cover at least 53.5 yards on the ground as SF tries to grind out a win vs Rams pass heavy offense.
Fanduel has the best odds and has the ladder option.
