We have yet another beautiful Thursday night. It is cold and raining over here in dirty jerz, but there is a football game tonight which makes it a beautiful night. We have the Colts vs. Broncos in Denver for this matchup.
There is no Jonathan Taylor for the Colts as he is dealing with an injury. This is a huge blow for the Colts offense that has been abysmal all year. This Colts offense is actually 30th in passing and 32nd in rush offense via DVOA this season. The Broncos on the other hand are 17th in passing and 26th in rush offense via DVOA.
On the defensive side of the ball, Denver has the 6th best passing defense and the 20th best rush defense. The Colts poor run game and the loss of Taylor makes it harder for the Colts to exploit that weakness defensively. The Colts have the 2nd best rush defense and the 27th best pass defense via DVOA. I think the Broncos have success in the air if Wilson’s shoulder holds up.
I think the Broncos have the edge here in this matchup, but I don’t like them enough for an official play here. I think we attack this game with another same game parlay and have a fun Thursday Night.
