Kylian Mbappe’s dramatic late goal gave PSG a deserved lead after they dominated the first leg of this tie. Afterwards Real Madrid and Carlo Ancelotti received a ton of criticism for their approach. They kept things tight at the back and were very conservative going forward. A one goal deficit won’t change how Los Blancos will approach this match. In front of their fans at the Bernabeu, anything less than aggressive attacking football will be deemed unacceptable.
I think Ancelotti’s team picks itself with the suspensions of Mendy and and Casemiro. Karim Benzema has scored in three straight matches and at +130 I think it’s worth a bet for him to make it four. We’re all hoping for Mauricio Pochettino to start the front three of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe. Unfortunately this trio has only played together a few times which has been a big disappointment. If they can make it click, Thibaut Courtois will have a busy night in goal.
