            Match Prediction & Betting Odds

The Toffees are unbeaten in their last seven against their visitors. Four of the previous five meetings between the pair has seen less than 2.5 goals scored, so expect this to be a low scoring affair. Everton have also scored first in four of the previous five games in general, despite recent results seeing them concede the lead. Palace have conceded first in five of their previous seven. We are expecting these trends to continue this weekend. We predict: Everton 1-0 Crystal Palace

            Form Guide & Key Stats:

            Everton

Everton have had a rough start to the season, with one win, two losses, and two draws in their last five games. They were denied a first league win in a 1-1 draw with Leicester, despite Iliman Ndiaye giving them an early lead. This came after a penalty shootout defeat to Southampton in the EFL Cup following a 1-1 draw. Prior to that, they suffered back-to-back 3-2 losses, blowing 2-0 leads against both Bournemouth and Aston Villa. Their only win came in the EFL Cup second round, where they comfortably beat Doncaster 3-0.

            Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace are unbeaten in their last five games, with two wins and three draws. Their run began with a 4-0 EFL Cup win over Norwich, with Daichi Kamada, Jean-Philippe Mateta (twice), and Ismaila Sarr scoring. Before the international break, they drew 1-1 at Chelsea, with Eberechi Eze's stunning goal cancelling out Nicolas Jackson's opener. After the break, they drew 2-2 with Leicester, with Mateta scoring a stoppage-time penalty to salvage a point. Palace then advanced in the EFL Cup with a 2-1 win over QPR, and most recently held Manchester United to a 0-0 draw at home.
