Let me preface this by saying that I don’t think Yale will win this game. But they actually have a very complete team and an extremely competent offense. The size of Purdue will give them trouble down the stretch but the Boilermakers don’t like to lean on the bigs early in the game. If they change that philosophy for this game, Yale could be in trouble but I think they’re more than capable of keeping it under 17 points.

USC has way too much length for Miami to handle. Miami can occasionally come out and shoot the lights out but that’s really tough under the bright lights. The floor for the Trojans is so much higher and that matters the most in the tournament. Anything could happen and I’m happy to stick with USC in the event that things get chaotic.

TCU is 8-8 in Quad 1 games this year. Which means they played 16 QUAD GAMES THIS YEAR. That’s as battle tested as it gets. They played in possibly the toughest division and made their presence known which impresses on the whole. Seton Hall was a milder presence in a milder conference. Look what happened to Marquette and Uconn yesterday. Even Creighton nearly lost in overtime. The quality of the conference and the depth are not impressive and TCU has a chance to prove it.
