No. 11 Illinois vs. Duke
Both teams looked good last week as they beat up on easy opponents that they should have demolished. However, Illinois’ beatdown of Western Illinois was fairly complete (52-3). But Duke allowed Elon to run for 163 yards; the Illini had 209 total rushing yards in Week 1.
Our Pick: Illinois -3
Duke will want to throw on Illinois (which will not be easy) while the Illini will look to keep the Blue Devils' offense on the sideline by grinding it out with the run game.
Iowa vs. No. 16 Iowa State
Both teams have gotten off to a solid start after showcasing some of their offensive power last week. Iowa had a heck of a running game, but it will not be as easy to run on Iowa State. The Cyclones, however, had an excellent, balanced offensive attack.
Our Pick: UNDER 41.5
There is more offensive firepower than usual with both schools, but defense will rule the day like it always does with these two and keep the score down.
Kansas vs. Missouri
Kansas is being disrespected here just because they are not in the SEC. That can be the only reason why the Tigers are favored by -6.5. Yes, Missouri crushed their Week 1 opponent, but they should have.Kansas, on the other hand, dominated a good Fresno State team and destroyed Wagner.
Our Pick: Kansas ML at +205 (Caesars)
Jalon Daniels is the real deal. He and the balanced Kansas offense will be too much for Missouri.
