College Football is upon us! 

Yes, Week 0 is here but let's not lose our minds and still practice good bankroll management.

We have a whole season ahead of us.

The slate kinda sucks but I'll take the worst CFB slate over any other sport. 

Nebraska brings back a strong defense that kept them in games last year with an offense that tried to give it away. QB play and turnovers were the downfall of 2021 Nebraska (the best 3-9 team ever). That was last year and now Martinez is at Kansas State and Casey Thompson, the transfer from Texas, is getting the start.

Mark Whipple from Pitt came over in the offseason to be the new Offensive coordinator which should free up Scott Foster to focus on being a head coach instead of both. Whipple brings a new more aggressive offense that should put points on the board. Going back to Scott Foster his seat is hot right now but he has to be tired of people bringing up the 5-20 in 1 possession games stat and take advantage of 1 last opportunity to be the Head Coach At Nebraska.

Northwestern was a train-wreck last year. I consistently faded them during the 2nd half of the season when they lost the last 6 games - 5 of them by 26 or more points. They scored 14 or fewer points in the last 8 games. They also played Nebraska last year and lost 56-7 but enough with last year.

The Wildcats are returning some pieces on both sides of the ball with Cam Porter and leader on the defense in Adetomiwa Adebawore. Head coach Pat Fitzpatrick will want to slow the game down and keep the game close but at the end of the day Nebraska is just a better team and should cruise to victory.
