This is a game everyone should be looking forward to. UTSA comes into this matchup with a 4-2 record after 3 straight wins going against FIU who is 2-3 after last week's loss to Uconn. The current spread is UTSA -33.5. You're probably thinking "is this asshole really about to make me bet this big ass spread?" No, I'm not but let me tell you about the game before I get into the play.
UTSA has a fast paced (top 15 overall at 22.8 seconds per play) but an overall balanced attack that averages 37.4points per game. The main weapons they have are QB Frank Harris who is completing 68.9% of his passes for an average of 8.9 yards per attempt and Brandon Brady who takes over at running back from Sincere McCormick, who left for the NFL, and will take the majority of the rushing attempts for the team. They're going against a defense that is giving up 38.3pts per game which is 124th overall. One noticeable loss earlier in the year was vs Western Kentucky the score was 73-0 this is the same Western Kentucky who UTSA just happened to beat last week. Is that lazy analysis? Yes but it paints a picture of how bad this team is. The worst part or best is that FIU's offense is just as bad but they're also fast, averaging a play every 22.9 seconds which is top 15 in the nation. Which is exactly what you will need to give UTSA the maximum amount of opportunities on offense. I wanted to take FIU offense out of the equation as much as possible. So no full game total or possibility for a back door cover on the spread. The play is UTSA team total over 48.5 points. I had to use my own promo with Caesars to make this play because FanDuel doesn't do pregame TT options at least for me this season.
I'm looking for that 1 way shootout and that should make an unwatchable game very watchable.
Bet responsibly and best of luck.
