Atomic is bringing out the strikeout ladder for today's MLB matchup between the Tampa Bay Rays and Cincinnati Reds.
Atomic's MLB Ladder Play for Monday: Rays @ Reds - 4/17

Tampa Bay Rays @ Cincinnati Reds (6:40PM ET)
Will be splitting a unit on Greene here. Pretty big discrepancy on FD value compared to all other books & I think we are getting REALLY good value for Greene in this one considering he had a juicier line against a more disciplined pirates team to start the season. We did take it and he hit for us.
Greene has had 8+ Ks in his L7/8 games we have seen him with better command & dominating the strike zone as of lately while on paper the Rays do not strike out a ton when you actually dig deeper into how starters have performed against them you will see its a completely different story while Manoah only had 5 Ks he saw his fair share of 2 strike counts & has been a disappointment to say the least.
We saw Kikuchi yes Kikuchi have 9 Ks vs them. I am aware he is a lefty but we are talking about Greene & Kikuchi here & when we look into some righties you will see Jose "Turkey Tosser" Berrios had 6 Ks in just 77 pitches vs them I project Greene at 90-100 pitches and Corey Kluber had 7 these are not good pitchers while Greene is especially in terms of K%.
Greene sees a 8 K% increase against LHB good thing for us the Rays project to have 6/9 of them in their lineup he will have 6/9 high K targets as well & 5/9 of those are lefties which is PERFECT for Greene this is just a low line honestly regardless of matchup but when you see the team he is playing it is even nicer I honestly see even the lower K guys swinging at very questionable pitches & he will eat up the bottom of the order.
