Twins-Royals, OVER 8.5 Runs
Bailey Ober (Twins) has struggled on the road, going 2-3 in ten road starts with a 6.02 ERA and .324 OBA. Michael Lorenzen is 5-9 in 22 starts with a 4.54 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, and .265 OBA. Don’t be surprised when the Royals lineup wakes up and has a day while the Twins score enough to go OVER 8.5 runs.

New York is kind enough to give young Brandon Sproat his first career start in the Big Leagues on the road. Cincinnati isn’t exactly a powerhouse, but he’ll be facing Hunter Greene, who has been hard to beat at home. In eight starts at the Great American Ballpark, he’s gone 3-1 with a 1.75 ERA and .159 OBA.

A’s starter Luis Severino has been at his best on the road, going 5-2 in 12 road starts with a 2.94 ERA and .213 OBA. The Angels are giving Mitch Farris his second career start; he got the win in his first vs. the Royals (five innings, three hits, one run, two walks, and three strikeouts).
However, the Angels will be in trouble when they hand it over to their bullpen, one of the worst in baseball (4.86 ERA, No. 28). The A’s may not score in double digits again, but they’ll win comfortably.
