Domantas Sabonis will be playing in his 12th game in a King’s uniform tonight in what could very well be the most fun game of the night. With over set at 234.5, there should be tons of stats to go around for everyone, but I specifically like one spot for Sabonis.
Sabonis' scoring has been all over the place since his arrival. The Kings play at a very fast pace that doesn’t award many back to the basket post ups for him. What has remained very consistent is his passing and rebounding. He is second on the Kings with 10.4 potential assists and 5.9 assists. He is also 4th in the league in rebound chances and 3rd in the league in rebounds while wearing purple.
He is averaging 18.7 rebounds + assists and has hit his current over in 9 of 11 with the Kings. He had 20 vs the Bulls on 2/16, and has hit in 3 out of 4 this season dating back to his Pacer days. Vucevic and Sabonis have had some great battles over the last few years too. Sabonis has always produced some terrific stats, as he has averaged 20.8 rebounds + assists in the 5 games against Vuc where he played over 30 minutes. In a game with a massive projected total, this feels like a great spot for Sabonis to continue these trends.
