Another good old Terry Rozier appearance. Terry and I have not gotten along too well since I started writing these articles as I always seem to catch his 3-17 shooting days, but I am looking to him once again.
A very interesting trend has developed in Charlotte over the past few weeks. Lamelo Ball is playing off the ball more and Terry has been facilitating the offense as he continues to light up the scoreboard this season. With that has also come some impressive assist numbers that have caught my eye. Over the last 10 games, Terry and Lamelo are averaging the exact same number of potential assists so he is getting solid volume in that department. Against OKC who is 27th in assists allowed (He also had 9 assists vs the Thunder on 1/21), I like this spot for him to rack them up.
However, we are not stopping there. It is hard to ignore the scoring tear he has been on lately. He is averaging 23.2 points over his last 10 games, and that number has jumped to 25.8 over his last 5. As usual, I am a sucker for volume. He has been playing 36.4 minutes, taking 17.4 field goal attempts, and 8.4 three point attempts over his last 10 games. OKC has been annihilated lately allowing an incredible 133 points over their last 3 games, and are 27th in three pointers allowed where Terry does a lot of his work.
With his recent uptick in assists and scoring outburst, I am gonna combine his points and assists and play the over.
