New England Patriots vs. Miami Dolphins. Miami has the look of a team on its way down, and there’s already cries to blame coach Mike McDaniel. They go against a less-than-overwhelming Patriots team, as quarterback Drake Maye struggled in their opener.
Point Spread: Miami -1.5 (+100)
Money Line: Miami -118, New England -102
Game Total (Over/Under): Miami Under 43.5 (-115), New England Over 43.5 (-105)
Sunday Night Football has the Atlanta Falcons vs. the Minnesota Vikings. Two young quarterbacks with something to prove meet up in this contest. Atlanta’s Michael Penix Jr. kept his team in the game against playoff perennial Tampa Bay, while the Minnesota Vikings made a strong comeback to beat the Chicago Bears behind redshirt rookie J.J. McCarthy.
Moneyline: Minnesota -170, Atlanta +142
Spread: Minnesota -3 (-115), Atlanta +3 (-105)
Over/Under: Minnesota Under 44.5 (-110), Atlanta Over 44.5 (-110)
Monday Night Football has the Los Angeles Chargers visiting the Las Vegas Raiders. The Chargers upset the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL’s second annual Brazil game, while the Raiders slapped around and beat a weak New England Patriots team. The Chargers should win this one, although a travel hangover and a fine quarterback in Geno Smith of the Raiders might make it close
Moneyline: Los Angeles -180, Las Vegas +150
Spread: Los Angeles +3 (+102), Las Vegas -3 (-122)
Over/Under: Los Angeles Over 46.5 (-108), Las Vegas Under 46.5 (-112)
New York Jets vs. Buffalo Bills. The Bills had an unbelievable comeback against the always-tough Baltimore Ravens on opening day, while the Jets choked away a fourth-quarter lead to fall to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Aaron Rodgers. Unless the Bills come out flat, they should easily dust the Jets.
Moneyline: Buffalo -310, New York +250
Spread: Buffalo -6.5 (-115), New York +6.5 (-105)
Over/Under: Buffalo over 46.5 (-110), New York Under 46.5 (-110)
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes didn’t have his finest hour in the 2025 Super Bowl, but it’s hard to imagine he isn’t ready for a measure of redemption against the team that denied him a three-peat. He’ll have to get a lot right in this one against a young but promising Eagles secondary, and his -112 to be under 241.5 passing yards looks tempting.
Moneyline: Kansas City +105, Philadelphia -125
Spread: Kansas City +1.5 (-112), Philadelphia -1.5 (-108)
Over/Under: Kansas City Under 46.5 (-102), Philadelphia Over 46.5 (-118)
