If it ain't broke, don't fix it, especially when it comes to a fellow penguin.
Jaylen Waddle with Tua Tagovailoa at the helm is an extremely dangerous dynamic duo and even more so vs a Detroit Lions defense that is giving a ton of passing yards at home. Interestingly enough, Detroit gives so many passing yards becauseΒ Jared Goff plays much better in Detroit and usually finds himself in a shootout. The opposing team's WR1 and/or WR2 have had massive games in Detroit every game this year. Detroit gives the 2nd highest passing yards in the NFL, 289 yards at home this year feedingΒ right into our Jaylen Waddle play.
When Tua is healthy, Jaylen Waddle is averaging 111.8 receiving yards per game and has hit over 66.5 yards in all five of them. In his only away game with Tua this year, he went off for an insane 171 yards. He's hit over 100 yards in three of the five games and over 125 yards in two of those three. With favorable stadium/weather conditions, Tua/Waddle connection, and Detroit giving a ton of yards at home, give me Jaylen Waddle for a ladder up to 125 receiving yards. This line straight up doesn't make any sense.
Best odds on BET365, but I'm good with the slightly worse lines on FD as well.
