They only played one Power 5 school and that was against Virginia Tech in a game that they lost by 22 points. Where Vermont stands out is on the defensive end. It definitely caused problems for 99% of the teams they played this year but probably will not be an issue for a legit team like Duke.

This game has an extremely low total at just 132.5 points. I get that Vermont has a good defense but I believe that is mostly due to the competition they have faced this season. Against Duke, I doubt that they can hold them down. Duke should continue to play their brand of basketball and do what they want against Vermont in this one.

133 or more points is a line that Duke covered in 90% of their games this season. The only time they didn’t cover this total in their last 10 games was when they beat Virginia by 25 points and Virginia scored just 48 points. In this game Vermont is only an 11.5-point underdog so it should be closer and cover this over on a low total.
