The Mariners are on the backend of their very long road trip and they seem worn out. They scored 1 run total in the majority of their 7 game road stretch and their about to enter a 3rd road series in a row. They’re missing a key piece in Julio Rodriguez after getting pulled early last game and they’re starting a weaker lineup. They’re playing their worst baseball all year in September hitting just .207 and they have a tough matchup vs Brad Singer.
Brad pitched a gem vs them in his last start giving 1 1H run against them where Kyle Seager (not on team anymore) scored. Singer has covered this line in his L8/9 home starts facing much harder opponents. I don’t think anything changes tonight vs a weaker SEA lineup that has been struggling all year.
