To kick off the MLB 2022 playoffs we have the battle of the Shanes and I'm siding with Biebs. Bieber is in better form pitching out of his mind in August/September recording a win in his last 8 of 11 games with about a 2 ERA. He gave up 4 ER in 6 IP LG vs the Rays, but that was after a 30 min rain delay in the 3rd inning (shut them out before that). The game before that he shut the Rays down allowing just 1 ER in 7 IP. On the other hand, Mclanahan is in much worse form giving 11 ER in his L14 innings with a 3.89 AUG/SEP ERA. He also gave up 5 ER in 4.1 IP without a rain delay vs Cleveland last game (CLE won).
On top of that, Cleveland has been rolling to end the season carrying a ton of momentum into the playoffs winning their last 13 of 16 games and last 4 of 6 vs TBR including the last two games in Cleveland. The Rays have been ice cold, losing their last 5 in a row (and last 9 of 12) only scoring 2 runs total in their last two games in Cleveland. Give me the hotter team, with the pitcher in better form at home for almost even money,
