Capper Penguin's MLB First 5 Innings Pick - 7/31

The Padres are MUCH better vs left handed pitcher and they absolutely rocked Gomber in his last start. He allowed 7 runs in just 4 innings a few weeks ago in Denver and has a 7.19 ERA. On the other hand, Lugo has been solid. He held the Rockies to just 1 run earlier this year, has GREAT batter vs pitcher history vs them, and is in much better form than Gomber. The Padres have been crushing the ball the past 2 months and I expect them to get ahead early today.
