Zach Eflin is in a beautiful spot to go deep vs the 2nd worst team in baseball. A lot of (not as good pitchers) have been making it at least 18 outs vs the Royals. First of all, Shane McClanahan got pulled early yesterday leaving the game after just 3.2 innings leaving his bullpen to take care of the rest of the outting. This leaves Zach in, not a must needed spot, but a spot where Cash would love to see him go deep. He’d rather leave him in then take him out.
He’s also covered this line fairly easily in his last 4 home games recording 20, 21, 21, and 21 outs. We should see something similar vs a struggling Royals 2023 team.
