Capper Penguin's MLB Friday Play of the Day: Reds @ Marlins - 5/12

Here's a nice quick hitter for the first game of the day.

Cincinnati is the away team and will be up first with an obvious advantage right off the bat, but my favorite part about this play is that Graham Ashcraft hasn't let up a first inning run all year. So hopefully the Reds will have two solid 3 out chances to get the first run across the plate.  He's 6-0 in the first inning and has a great history vs the Marlins. In his last time against them he went for 8.1 innings allowing his first run in the 6th inning. The Reds have also scored the first run in their last 6 games and the Marlins haven't scored first in their last 10 of 11 home games. Also, the Marlins are starting a 20 year old rookie who may have some nerves going in the first start in the big leagues.
