The Tampa Bay Rays have tied the Atlanta Braves and Milwaukee Brewers for the best start to an MLB season ever with 13 wins. If they win this evening, they will hold the record on their own at 14.

They have their best starting pitcher going tonight in Drew Rasmussen who is yet to allow an earned run this season in two starts. To end the season last year he allowed 1 run in Toronto. Jose Berrios will start for the Blue Jays and although he’s better at home, he’s been ROCKED to start the year allowing 12 runs in 9.2 IP. AND he allowed 6 runs in 2.1 inning last year vs them.

This seems like a no brainer. Give me the hottest team (ever?) with the better pitcher to set the MLB record.
