This is a real nice, buy-low spot for Logan Webb as he just got pulled earlier out in Colorado (still went 5.2) last game. However, he's gone over this line in his previous 8 of 9 games including 20 outs in his last start vs St. Louis this year. He's also hit this line in his previous 4 away games. St. Louis is a great team for Logan Webb to go deep on since he puts strikes in the zone and they don't have a high whiff rate. They make contact with the ball 82.2% of the time. Logan's walk percentage is down, spin rate/strike percentage is up leading to a great matchup for Webb.
The Giants are coming off a bullpen game and will be a little depleted tonight. AND we're getting the best weather on the slate for less runs.
Give me Webb to go deep at a nice plus money price.
