Rocking with Zack Wheeler for the first leg who’s covered this line in 10 straight including 21 outs recorded vs the Padres. He’s also been even better on the road in terms of longevity hitting 18+ outs in his last 10 of 11 games. He’ll have the best weather of the slate backing him as well.
Then on the backend I’m rocking with Nick Pivetta for just 4 Ks. He’s come out of the bullpen in his last couple games, but in 9 of his 10 starts this season he’s covered this line easily averaging 6.7 Ks per game. He’s facing a Rays team that K’d 12 times last game and struck out 6 and 5 times to Nick Pivetta in their last 2 times vs him.
