Tyler Glasnow is making his second playoff start since 2020 and will be facing a Rangers team that held top of the batting rankings in most categories for the better half of the season. They haven’t struck out more than 7.5 times to a right handed starting pitcher in 15 games and Glasnow should be on a short leash in this 3 game series. Meaning if they get to him at all early, he should get a quick pull especially from the Rays coach.
He’s only played Texas once this year and finished with 6 Ks in 6 innings pitched and he’ll need to pitch a gem to get through 6 innings today.
