I’m sorry but with the lineup that the Seattle Mariners just put out I have to ladder my guy Joe Ryan.
The two main guys on the mariners that run up pitch counts and don’t strikeout are JP Crawford and Teoscar Hernandez and they are both out of the lineup. The new lineup today has 8 of the 9 batters who strikeout 20%+ vs RHP and 5+ are over 30% (2 above 40%). Then Joe Ryan has been feasting in general. He’s covered this line easily striking out 10, 7, 10, and 9 in his last 4 starts and has covered in his last 4 straight at home averaging 9.5 Ks including 10 vs Baltimore and 9 vs the Red Sox.
This is too good not to take and ladder.
