Chris Bassitt has been the most consistent pitcher for the Mets recently logging a win in his last five of six games including a big win last game vs the Dodgers. After losing to the Pirates in game 1 allowing ATL to tie them for 1st place I expect the Mets to come out firing vs the 2nd worst team in the league.

On the other side the Pirates are most likely pitching a bullpen game starting with Duane Underwood who hasn’t pitched more than 2.0 IP all season. Duane sports a 4.6 ERA that is worst on the road. Behind him is a PIT bullpen that ranks 4th worst in the league with a a 4.6 ERA.

Chris Bassitt should log his 13th win of the season backed by a motivated 1st place NYM squad.
