Capper Penguin's Wednesday MLB Prediction & Picks - 9/21

Riding the red hot Mets and Taijuan, who's in better form pitching in his element (during the day and on the road).

This is mainly a bet on day game Taijuan Walker (also better away) and a fade on day game Adrian Houser. Taijuan Walker has a nuts 1.21 ERA in day games this year (9 starts, 6 wins). Taijuan has had a rocky season, but he's finally coming into form pitching 7 innings or more in his L2 starts recording Ws in both. On the other hand, Adrian Houser has a worse day/night split with a 5.30 day ERA and he got rocked last game at home giving 4 ER in just 3 IP. The Mets are on a hot streak winning their L6 overall (avg 6.17 RPG) and L4/4 away (avg 8.5 RPG). Not to mention the Mets are in a very tight race for the NL East with the ATL Braves who are just one game behind them. Meanwhile MIL is technically fighting for their lives, but after dropping their last three games (2 vs NYM) reality is setting in that they're not making the playoffs.
