The Boston Red Sox are 20-5 (80%) vs. this 3.5 Team Total line since June 19th. Betting them to score 4+ runs is 7-1 (87.5%) this season vs. their rival New York Yankees.

Tonight, they get to face struggling right-handler Jameson Taillon for the 2nd time in 6 days. Boston crushed him for 6 earned runs in just 5 innings last time. Including that start, Taillon’s been tagged with 3+ earned runs in 5 of his last 6 outings.

Why is this line 3.5? I’m honestly not sure, but it likely relates to the weather forecast. There’s a chance of storms in the Bronx tonight, and storms don’t pair well with betting Overs. That’s a risk I’m willing to take, though, with Jameson Taillon pitching. Even if the game gets cut short, I like Boston’s chances to score 4+.

It’s been a good week betting-wise for $FML and I’m feeling confident, so I doubled my bet size on this play to win 2 units at best available odds (-110 at MGM at time of writing).
