Hunter Greene is a tough pitcher to predict but we’re going to give it a try. His ERA of 5.66 is concerning to Reds fans but he has moments of brilliance including a 7 inning, 1 hit performance vs Arizona and 7.1 hitless innings against Pittsburgh. He’s also got 88 strikeouts over 70 innings. But when he gets hit, he gets hit hard and it could happen at any moment. His blazing fastball is an asset but contributes to a hart hit rate higher than almost 70% of all pitchers in the MLB. The kid will figure it out but until he does, expect plenty of runs against him.
Justin Steele is more predictable on the other side but will still give up a good share of runs. Not nearly as home runs, but he’s hittable and the Reds don’t rely on the long ball anyways. This total should go well over 7.5, making this must take bet.
