Run it back! Trout is making a repeat appearance in the home run parlay for a lot of the same reasons as yesterday. Despite not going yard last night, he’s still hit 5 home runs this week and averages .364 at home. He should practically be at even odds for hitting one every game right now. The young Jonathan Heasleyis no slouch but his hard hit rate of 48.4% puts him higher than 86% of pitchers in the league. A clean line drive from Trout could sail right over the short left field wall.

Willy Adames is on a nice 4 game hitting streak that has helped the Brewers on their 4 game winning streak. The hard-hitting shortstop has 13 home runs on the season but gets the nod on the parlay tonight because of the matchup. The Brewers have hit pretty well against Jack Flaherty who will be starting for the Cardinals tonight. But Willy has maybe done the best, managing to hit a home run against Flaherty in only 2 at bats. He’ll have a good chance to make that 2 when he comes up in the first inning.

Have the Dodgers been underperforming lately? Absolutely. But we’re getting a little carried away here. This is a matchup of arguably the most talented MLB roster vs arguably the least talented. Tyler Mahle is one of the better options for the Reds and had a great 9 inning no run outing in his last game, but he’s just as likely to get blown up.

A great example of him getting blown up was in April when he last faced the Dodgers and gave up 7 runs in an inning and was pulled in the 4th. Gonsolin is also now the defacto ace for the Dodgers and has killed recently. This matchup is likely to go way in the direction of the Dodgers, a lot like their first matchup when the Dodgers won 9-1.
