Taking a stab at another total bases play for the night games and i know no one ever says no to some late night action, amirite? This one is pretty crazy that were getting these guys at THESE lines so i feel like were taking advantage, but good for us.
Leg 1: Kyle Schwarber o1.5 TB
Is there a hotter hitter (say that 5x fast) on the planet than Schwarber? Clearing this number in 6 of his last 10 overall and 7/L10 facing a RHP. Schwarber has hit 20 HR and 8 doubles against RHP this season, sporting a .358 ISO. Hitting leadoff for Philly on the road, he will also be in line for that extra AB late in the game if we so need.
Leg 2: Yordan Alvarez o1.5 TB
Yordan bases. Rinse. Repeat. This is almost an automatic play these days and he's looking to make it six in a row. Yes, SIX straight with 2+ bases overall. Clearing this in 7/L10 vs RHP he will be facing Paul Blackburn who is carrying a .201 ISO and .286 BA against lefties. Alvarez is hitting .339 with 5 doubles and 21 HR vs righties. match made in heaven.
Leg 3: Julio Rodriguez o1.5 TB
Leading off for Seattle but wrapping up our play is Julio Rodriguez, who ALSO has cleared this with ease in 7 of his L10. Specifically vs RHP hes right on the money again, 7/L10. Seems to be the trend with this one. Ross Striping, a righty, fares FAR WORSE vs RHB surrendering a .262 batting average and a .127 ISO. Rodriguez leading off is hitting righties well this year with 13 doubles, 10 HR and a .271 BA.
If you don't want to stay up for the Seattle game, file this under the "Wake and Cash" category.
