We got off to a great start with K props yesterday with a quick cash from Adam Wainwright. I was pleased with the pitchers' workloads yesterday. Unless they got crushed, most pitchers threw somewhere close to 85 pitches. That is not too far off of normal workloads for a lot of these guys and hoping we see more of the same today.

I am looking towards Shane McClanahan for strikeouts today. This time last season, he was not even on the opening day roster. Now he is the opening day starter for one of the league's best. He has had quite the ascent in the big leagues and it is well deserved. He went 10-6 last season with a 3.43 ERA, and he averaged about 1.15 K per inning. Against today’s opponent, Baltimore, he witnessed a slight uptick to 1.17 K per inning. He was also much stronger at home with 1.31 K per inning. In 4 outings vs the O’s, Shane hit over 5.5 in 3 out of 4. Current O’s battors have a combined 29% strikeout rate vs him in 76 career at bats. The O’s have some great targets for lefty pitchers. At the time of writing this, today’s lineup is not released but their projected lineup includes:
