I love Baseball. There are so many markets to explore to find spots. Over the course of the season, you will see me explore many different markets. Strikeouts and first five result props were covered yesterday. For the first prop today, I will be looking into team total.Β
I have my eyes on the White Sox against a lefty tomorrow. Eduardo Rodriguez will be on the mound tomorrow for the Tigers. The former Red Sox pitcher is coming off a season with a 4.74 ERA. He now changes uniforms to a team with a worse offense and a worse bullpen. The Tigers bullpen was 9th worst with a 4.50 ERA last season. Detroit worked hard to improve in the offseason, but they failed to address a dreadful bullpen. They will also be down 3 of their 6 top arms in the pen as Funkhouser, Cisnero, and Chafin will start the season out.
When you partner Detroitβs pitching issues with the Sox offense, we find ourselves in an interesting spot. Chicago had 2021βs 6th best offense at 4.90 runs per game. They added some intriguing talent to the lineup with Aj Pollock and Josh Harrison coming into the mix. A great trend to add to the mix here is the Sox success against lefties. The White Sox had a team average of .261 and an OPS of .775 vs southpaws. They have several pieces to their lineup that mash lefties: Anderson, Robert, Abreu, Grandal, Pollock, and Harrison. With ERod on the mound, the White Sox should have early success, and with the lack of talent in the Detroit bullpen they should continue it all game. I love them to get over 4 runs.
