AustinsProps' NBA Play of the Day: Timberwolves @ Kings - 3/4

Austin has found a diamond in the metaphorical rough of this weekend's sub-par NBA slate as Minnesota take on the Kings in California.

We have gross NBA weekend slate, but there still is money to be made. For me my favorite bet is laying the Kings -5 at home against the Timberwolves. Both teams are coming off back to backs and both likely have some fatigue which is one reason I like the home favorite. Sacramento is red hot after the allstar break as they have won 5 straight games and seem to be clicking on all cylinders. I also expect all of there starters to be good to go tonight so we should see them at full strength. The Timberwolves have been playing solid basketball as of late but this will be their 4th straight road game and typically that’s when you start to see teams struggle.

The Kings offense has been electric as of late and I think they just simply outscore the Timberwolves tonight. I’ts also worth noting that it wouldn’t be surprising if a guy like Rudy Gobert rested tonight as he’s been battling injuries. This game has a 237 total and for me I feel it’s more likely for MIN to struggled scoring rather than SAC so I’m leaning the Kings -5 tonight at home.
