I'm going with a mini Ladder Play for tonight's Bulls @ Celtics game:
Nikola Vucevic will be an important piece to the puzzle if the Bulls want to take down the Boston Celtics, especially on the glass. Nikola will need to do the bulk of the rebounding with Andre Drummond out with a hurt shoulder. Drummond has been averaging over 10 rebounds a game with solid minutes on the court and without him, the majority of those boards/minutes go directly to Vuc. This is blatantly obvious looking at how Vuc did when Drummond didn't play this year. He's grabbed 13, 15 and 19 rebounds with an uptick in minutes without him and while vs decent rebounding opponents. On top of that, Robert Williams is out with a knee injury and Vuc just grabbed 23 boards vs. the Celtics earlier this year with Drummond in the mix.
With the Celtics allowing the 2nd most rebounds to center, Andre Drummond plus Robert Williams out, Vucevic covering in his last 3 games, and grabbing 23 vs. the Celtics last game, give me a mini ladder for Nikola Vucevic to grab 12 or more boards.
